I had read several reviews about the burnt almond cake at Sugar Butter Flour so I decided to stop by when I was in the area. The pastry case was full of all kinds of pastries that ranged from small individual servings and full sized cakes. I got an individual size burnt almond cake and yule log. The burn almond cake is a vanilla and chocolate cake with amaretto custard filling and topped with whipped cream and almonds. The yule log was chocolate cake with a custard filling and chocolate ganache icing. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the desserts. The burnt almond cake just tasted like almond extract and the yule log wasn't anything special. Based on these two desserts, I likely wouldn't return to the Sugar Butter Flour.

We've ordered custom cakes and regular cakes from Sugar Butter Flour over the last 10+ years. They've all be OUTSTANDING - delicious, beautiful, impressive. I'm attaching some photos of the custom cakes they've made for us. I don't think there's anything they can't do!

This establishment has a mom and pop type of feel to it. It's run by this kind and gentle hearted lady who is super sweet. There's a wide variety of pastries that are super delicious and fresh. The coffee is also tasty. If you're in the area or happen to be charging your car like I was, check em out.

It is the place for a small burnt almond cake. 2-3 people can share. They have fruit tarts and decadent chocolate cakes in many variations. You can also order coffee with the dessert.

This bakery is a must-visit! The staff is super friendly and recommended some amazing treats. The chocolate raspberry mousse and cake were both incredible - rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

Love this place! Tried the strawberry almond tart and the shortbread biscuits. They are not too sweet and have a perfect balance of all the wonderful flavors! The crispness of the tart is amazing and they have perfected the taste. Will definitely try this place again.

I am buying cakes and pastries from here from a few years now. Pasteries ate extremely artistic and you would rather want to save those pretty ones than eat it. Every item is so dense and rich that a small pastry is sufficient to be shared between 2 people. Biscuits and cookies are super soft and tender and you wouldn’t want to stop. This store is located in Cherry chase shopping complex and there is plenty of free parking available.

This bakery has a comforting vibe. We had an eclair and a lemon cheesecake. The eclair had a vanilla flavor and wasn’t too sweet, just the way I like eclairs. The lemon cheesecake was creamy and rich and an absolute treat! The staff were welcoming and patient.
